"An elegant thin crust pizza covered with a mixture of mozzarella, edam and goats cheese with sun-dried tomatoes, garlic and herbs topped off with squares of goats cheese, cherry tomato and a lovely concentration of aromatic basil. This pizza offers a superb combination of flavours; the sauce is not too sweet and the topping has a lovely acidic bite. The acidity comes from a combination of both the goats cheese and the cherry tomatoes. The only sweetness is from the sun dried tomatoes and the lovely concentrated basil pesto. 

A WOW pizza like this needs a fruity wine to stand up to the tart flavours of the goats cheese and the acidity of the tomatoes."

The finesse and highly aromatic qualities of the Tempranillo red grape variety make it the star of the Spanish varieties. This is a Vina Joven (young wine). The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged for four months in American oak casks and in the bottle. The use of American oak makes the wines seem richer, more full bodied with a fruit structure to enhance the flavour contrasts.
